Age Range
Ready for the next level of adventure? Scouts is open to boys and girls aged ten and a half to fourteen years old, but you can join as early as ten or as late as eleven, giving you the freedom to move up from Cub Scouts with your friends or when you’re ready to tackle bigger challenges. Scouts is all about daring exploration, building independence, and experiencing the thrill of the outdoors!

About Scouts
Scouts are the third section in the Scouting family, instantly recognizable in their iconic turquoise uniforms. Each week, Scout Troops (their groups) meet at schools, Scout huts, community centers, or outdoor locations to plan exciting adventures, develop survival skills, and take on the world!

Weekly Adventures
Every Scout meeting is packed with adrenaline-pumping activities! Expect to:

The Chief Scout’s Gold Award is the pinnacle of Scouting achievement! To earn this, you’ll need to complete all your Challenge Awards and demonstrate leadership, resilience, and a sense of adventure. But the journey doesn’t end there – Scouts who earn this honor move on to Explorers, where even greater adventures await!
